Bollinger Acquires BK International Insurance Brokers
BK was founded in 1987 by John Betz and David Kimball. Shelley Levine and Frank Lyon were
also founding principals of the firm. All four principals will join Bollinger as Executive Vice
Presidents. The BK offices will remain in Greenwich and David Kimball will act as COO of the
branch.
BK has special expertise in handling complex commercial accounts, including those with
international exposures. Through its School Insurance Group division it provides insurance to
public and private schools with a concentration in downstate New York and Connecticut regions.
In addition, BK provides insurance and risk management services to local Fairfield County
businesses and specializes in personal insurance for high net worth clients.

range of customers, as well as specialty insurance programs for golf and country clubs, amateur
sports, and schools and colleges.
